You know, Facebook is SO phenomenal that i don't even blog so often now due to the constant interaction with people in wall posts and photo comments. I mean, yes, THE blog is an avenue to express your feelings about day-to-day life or just random thoughts, but i guess the HUGE difference is that Facebook is much more interactive. Instant updates, eye-popping status, incriminating photos, hot gossips and whatever-nots. But, that doesn't mean the blog is defunct, friendster is. C'mon i can't recall when was the last time i conscientiously updated it and sent testimonials. Ultimately, Facebook rocks my socks and what are you waiting for? Get busy baby! haha :)

kana, i really love the lengga!!!!!!thanks hun. (is that how you spell it? or is it lenga, lengja, lengok langgar?) haha. that was very an improptu catch up, i love it but, don't kill me okay? i accidentally told su about the plan! we MUST meet up and discusslhow how how howww! :)

till then, I cant wait for bollywood night tom! i miss you hun.

Su happy feet, if God ever allow halal lesbian marriage, i swear you would be the first one that i want to marry. haha. i don't know what kind of magic technique you use, but each time i am at the lowest point in my life, you somehow managed to cure me fast by ranting, wailing and hard-core bitching till the point that we both are so amused at ourselves. i read your blog and can't help it, but to think about all those funny thoughts that we shared, in our minds about people, including ourselves. HAHA. -don't even get me started- but all in all, i really understand why, psychology is your major and why, our paths crossed way back in 2003 :)

you rock Su happy feet.
and i love you so damn bloody much.

the thought of attending an Indian wedding with my whole entire kecoh family on the 12th is itching my backside to dance hindustani songs in my room. so, i blasted mohabhatein from my phone and just when i was about to dance dance, i got emotional. ZARKENTAL. you better come back to sg now, i tell you! haha.i know, i know, what a song to dance to rite? but i just wanted to have a little bit of fun. so yeap, he's away for another holiday in Perth and of course, i am freaking jealous because i should be the one having endless holidays, NOT HIM.haha. but, oh wells, "holidaying" in sg is not that bad, considering that i have been catching up with friends, planned or unplanned anddd watching brothers and sisters every waking minute .

i like kitty. no, i LOVE kitty.i admire her strength as a woman, her guts to fight every argument objectively and her confidence in any kind of situation. it puts me in a position where i want to be part of the walkers, part of a dysfunctional family with a million and one issues. all in all, this show is addictive and zak, you are probably right about the previous entry on how "sad" i was. it could be due to the fact that it shows the extreme end of a dysfunctional family in an unpredictable world. but at the end of the day, you know, it's between you and God. just you and Allah. AWESOME.

come home soon, hun.

The Final Analysis

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centred.
Forgive them anyway.

If you be kind, people may accuse you of having selfish, ulterior motives
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies.
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight.
Build anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tommorrow.
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough.
Give the world the best you have anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.

So, tell me, what's the point of being frustrated, impatient, making false accusations, being too submissive, psycho-analysing and calculative again?

with love, hope and faith, it weathers all perfect storm.

move over Grey's, because the carousel you put me through meredith and derrick is nauseous and making me a little sick. but now, brothers and sisters totally rule sofi's world! don't get me wrong, Grey's an amazing medical drama, but brothers and sisters is real FAMILY drama, which i can probably relate to, even closer. like how the the parents still treat Justin, the youngest, as the child, while in actual fact he is THE son who is capable of making his own decisons and the surmounting support from the entire family. haha.I LOVEEEEEEEEE BROTHERS AND SISTERS. and whaddayano. my sis has the complete season 1 of brothers and sisters. purrrrfecto!

and what do you do when you have to babysit two of the cheekiest boys in the whole wide world?

youuuuuuu

cammmmmm-whoreeeee!!!

and it wasn't me who suggested the idea.

it was little kecik who can't stop taking pictures of himself, his brother and his auntie.
so cheeky.
so so cheeky.
:)

why why why did derek leave meredith alone in the forest just to say
"yes, i love you, but wait for me, i need to talk to rose."

i think you are more capable of taking courageous and massive actions like,
"yes meredith i want to be with you and i will talk to rose later"
or better still,
DON'T even MENTION her name.
this is where Dr.Bailey comes in handy, slaps reality and common sense in your face and rationalise things out.
I love Dr.Bailey.
I've said it before, and i am saying it again because if Seattle Grace Hospital were to really exist and if Dr.Miranda Bailey were to really exist i would fly to seattle immediately and be her intern and not learn about surgery, but more about life.
And i think i might be falling for George too.
His drive to succeed and never-stop-running attitude kinda rubs me in. <33333.haha.
and nowwww that season 4 is complete,
with strong recommendation by Maximus, i might start watching Brothers and Sisters!
I trust his taste in tv shows.
So iskie, it better be GOOD.
now that you are leaving me&su for one and a half months for your Europe trip and you won't be here for su's birthday, tv shows better be a good companion.
I AM GOING TO MISS YOUR KENTALNESS ISK!!!:(
and please show us your hot french girlfriend that your mother already approved, even before you met her, yourself.
brilliant!
and pleaseeeee pleaseeeeeee look after your baby camera in Europe! yesterday we all got lucky. I love that camera of yours too iskie! haha.
su happy feet!!! please take lots and lots of pictures in Phuket. i know i went there a few weeks back. but i am still suffering from thailand-holiday-hangover:( haha. but have a blast there hun. i am sure you will!:)
and THIS, was my Sunday, 15th June 2008:)
hafifi got married and the wedding was beautiful.

Bangkok

at budget terminal, where we feeling-feeling amazing race and fulfilled one of our post-exam goals, the COOL RUN. -almost- (except, the fact that we have all our clothes on!) haha

the gorgeous 2 months-old hotel.

we literally owned the whole swimming pool with water splashing everywhere and laughter filled the air.

outside the massage room.
and i want THIS to be my bed. haha.

CHITLOM.
CHOTLIM.
ze best place to shop in bkk la ah.

ON NUT.
UN NOT.
ze best bts station where everything is near, including dogs, which was supposed to keep us safe. :/

met farisha's uncle who is really kind but couldn't recognise her. hehe.

rca with the girls was effing fun.
BUTTTT, not the fight scene.
i really wanted to go home asap at that time.
sofi is very club-phobiccc now :(

@ uncle aslam's apartment near Chao Phraya river, where he owned the rooftop at 37th floor.
spectacular view.
but,with huge big fat cats.
errr....

didn't go for any cabaret or thai girl or tiger show.
but, passed by a shop that sells all sorts of stuffs for the show which i felt was more interesting and it's for free! haha.
so hello there madam!
:)

Wednesday, June 11, 2008

yes, i am back from the land, where i originate from, the land of ELEPHANTS(kaki gajah). and needless to say, it was FARKING AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. i literally enjoyed every second of it, be it from the squabbles with the manager at immfusion hotel in bkk, to the "counter is closed" at phuket airport. -freaking close shave- haha. honestly, it's difficult to pin-down my favourite part of the trip as there is too many to mention.

shopping in bkk.snorkling at the phi phi islands with millions of fishes surrounding us.riding the motorcycle in krabi without helmet.riding in phuket, without helmet AND GOT FINED!(i'm NOT KIDDING about this part) haha. walking along ao nang beach, with you:)

to sum it all, this thailand trip or rather, grad trip with the kodoks is the endurance test of SERIOUS fun, laughter and of course love.

Bangkok
if it's not for syirin, we wouldn't have known the existence of imm fusion hotel and how superbly gorgeous the place is. it's a mixture of arabian-mediterranean-thai design with nice trainee workers and restaurant manager. and, if it's not for azura and shidah, we would have slept along the streets for those 3 nights. haha. thank you kodoks and travel and living! haha.

shopping in the first day was amazing. i cant list down everything i bought, but honestly, i should have listened to myself and bought a million and one more things! haha. not only tt it's cheap, it's really nice too! but i guess we always thought that chatuchak had better offers and so, we held back, keep cool and composed ourselves in shopping. haha! but little did we know that chatuchak was a let-down, in a sense that the pricings, are a little bit higher than platinum mall and need i mention the heat? anyone would still be feeling freaking hot walking around naked at chatuchak. haha.

clubbing at rca was funnnn, fad moves her body like a cyclone! haha and everyone was having pure funnnn tilllllll there was a fierce fight in the club and got really bad with the heavy rain. but thank you sinping, fad, farisha and syirin for keeping me calm and safe. now, i have triple thoughts of going clubbing again :/ i've never really like clubbing, but, i wouldn't mind supper. anyone? haha.

Krabi
tipa-TERTIPU resort was a nice place to stay at, where ao nang beach is 3 mins away.yes, 3 mins, everything in thailand is 3 mins away. HAHA! i LOVE the phi phi islands, where fadhila learned that she has a new name, faTHIMA and a new love, the orang laut. haha. and the sea water is sparkling blue and scenery was simply amazing. i thought snorkling would be eeeky as i don't really like cats to be around me, but it was so much fun to have so many fishes surrouding you. and despite that, it's still very difficult to catch the fishes with the bare hands. and of course, the nicest part of krabi was, when zak and abul came and join the 7 princesses of thailand at that time:)

Phuket
"where are you from?" tt's all i remembered from walking at the markets in phuket. they consistently ask us and tout tourists like no one's business. but despite that, patong beach was magnificient. the bird's eye view of patong beach while riding the motorcycle was unexplainable. and yes, that was one of the tsunami hit areas in 2004 and ohmygod. i can't wait to watch the video from shidah's camera. i remembered laughing heartily while watching it over and over again with her in our room. the two gay boys were so menyemak in the video starring sofi macam paham in the video. damn funny la. and shidah, power la babe. this woman is the bomb la! rode only once in her entire life, but rode like never before for HOURS, with steep slopes, heavy traffics andddddddddd no helmets in thailand! HELLO! NO HELMETS! aku salute kau giler babi la member! and whooooooo can forget the cuak look in our faces when we got caught by mr. policeman not wearing helmets??? hahaha. got fined. 300 baht per bike. we tried almost everything in this trip man. EVERYTHINGGG.haha.

and of course, the thais, most of them are angels, especially khaw and m, who helped us find fad's mum udang kering, sampai kiter gusi kering naik motorcycle. haha. and many more. but alll of it wouldn't have been awesome if it's not for the wonderful company we had. how cool, fast-thinking and resourceful we all are. *hugs.

azura- she is the one who shops the least but one of the most resourceful person in the trip, be it negotiating, bargaining and planning. i must learn to be fierce and very the garang like you. haha. aku sayang kau, the girl with 29 tahi lalats! haha

abul- he is a joker wherever he go la ah. be it at simpang or krabi, i swear kau merepek nak mak mampos. in every picture, he will confirm chop gurantee sibuk be a lampost or be a lampost. so irri-noying. and i know you will never forget the day that ZAKiah held your hands in the sea when snorkling. how romantic.... awwwwwww.... haha

farisha- seriously la babe, seriously, thanks for being such a perfect mom to alllll of us during the whole entire trip by bringing food and the cool tube coffee. we would have probably beg for money and food along the streets of thailand in day one! i love you mama farisha and let's hope our parents will not worry so much on the next trip yea?

fadhila- fad. kau gila.
haha. seriously. i never thought you were that giler and now after this thailand trip, i realized you are more giler than me. who would have bring 3 kg of luggage compared to my 9 kg of luggage. and how you layan-ed me and ask the girls, "are we swimming with our babats?" you are crazy. but despite that, thanks for being a sayang outside the club and throughout the trip. sayangggggggg FATHIMAAAAAAA. and we are so happy for you la! must update update horrrr.

rashidah- shidah calls me an elephant because i justified her stand that we were really in thailand by stomping at every step. and of course, i sat on her just like a biggg biggg elephant. haha. shidah shidah. powerla! next time, harley davidson ah. amacam? and babe, just take care of yourself k. aku tahu la kawan kiter semua kelakar giler, tapi tak mahu sampai semput2 k.haha. sayangggg kau. and sorry we had to tell a lie, but oh wells, HAPPY SUPER ADVANCED BIRTHDAY!

sinping- sinping, why why why do i feel that though you are 300 metres taller and 1 year older than me, i feel that you are my younger little sister sometimes?haha. and darling, thanks for being considerate by eating halal food together with us, throughout the entire trip. sinping sinping. you are one unique kodok that i have ever seen. and because of that, you are my younger sister. haha. whatever it is, we are always here for you, BUT you must also help yourself also k? thank you for being so sweet throughout and i love you dearie. *hugs.

syirin- the only person who brought frozen rendang. FROZEN rendang, not thaw, FROZEN rendang to the airport before departure and expects us to eat it! why are u such a bimbo these days giler? haha. but though you denied it to the max, thanks for being a great leader in the trip and treasurer and everything else la. aku sayangggg kau!

zak- omg zak. i will never forget that look on your face when you were fish-attacked at phi phi island! classic! "oi! jangan lempar roti kat aku!!!" haha. but nevertheless, thanks for being such a sweetheart*hugs. i love you:)

*pics will be in facebook and next entry yeah? sorry guys. this entry is already long!haha

and did i mention my exams are over FOR LIFE???????
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
well, hopefully, in a sense that i DON'T wish to repeat any of the mods.
and, hopefully not, in a sense that learning is a life-longgggggggg journey, so we shall see how it goes. hope for the best and prepare for the worst. while i get busy looking for jobs and catching up with people!!!

YOU, are definitely missed.
quick! meet up!
im freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
weeeeeee
*hugs

Ungu - Tercipta Untukku

Menatap indahnya senyuman diwajahmu
Membuat ku terdiam dan terpaku
Mengerti akan hadirnya cinta kau peluk mesra tubuhku
Banyak kata

Yang tak mampu kuungkapkan
Kepada dirimu
Aku ingin engkau slalu

Hadir dan temani aku
Disetiap langkah
Yang meyakiniku
Kau tercipta untukku
Sepanjang hidupku

Aku ingin engkau slalu
Hadir dan temani aku
Disetiap langkah
Yang meyakiniku
Kau tercipta untukku
Meski waktu akan mampu
Memanggil seluruh ragaku
Ku ingin kau tau
Kuslalu milikmu
Yang mencintaimu
Sepanjang hidupku

Aku ingin engkau slalu
Hadir dan temani aku
Disetiap langkah
Yang meyakiniku
Kau tercipta untukku
Meski waktu akan mampu
Memanggil seluruh ragaku
Ku ingin kau tau
Kuslalu milikmu
Yang mencintaimu

and you know it, for a fact.

i managed to squeeze 50 mins of my time to watch,
Grey's episode 12(season 4) :where the wild things are;

and swing by www.greysanatomyinsider.com for the reviews on the episode and other articles.
till i saw this post about derrick, which says,

Patrick Dempsey’s Keys to Relationship Success

The man known as Dr. McDreamy may not know how to make a marriage last on Grey’s Anatomy — but the man known as Patrick Dempsey sure does!

“Love, humor, communication. To me those are the bedrocks of a good relationship,” the Versace-clad Dempsey, 42, said Monday at the New York City premiere of his wedding-themed romantic comedy, Made of Honor.

Dempsey at the Premiere

The Grey’s Anatomy star plays a compulsive womanizer in the comedy, but says the Made of Honor character’s “nothing like me at all — I’m married and have kids!”

Of his wife, Jillian Dempsey, the appreciative father-of-three said:

“She’s immensely supportive. Without her, I wouldn’t be here.”

for that, thank you for making this exam period a bearable though we would have been better without it.haha. but, what needs to be done, needs to be done good and let's work really hard towards the finishing line. eyes on the prize, hun. eyes on the prize.
we can do it. WE ALL CAN DO IT, together.
*hugs
<3.

who would have thought?
who would have thought.

i doubt so it's stress because, i have been stressed a couple of times before, and there is no Mount Everest or the Andes on my bloody forehead. then, there's another assumption that it could be when Mr. P dropping by every month and just keep bleeding love. but the thing is, none of it seems to coincide when i see both Mount Everest and Andes now and then on random occasions until i saw the correlation between eating chocolates and pimples.

yes, CHOCOLATES. those mouth-watering sweet irresistable foodie is now, sadly, a big no-no for me. well, i have yet to see a doctor to confirmed it, but it seemed true after i had oreo chocolate bubble tea, after it was 'cured' before. and guess when it happened previously? yeaup. the chocolate fondue@carousel. i must admit that when it comes to that, i eat err... more than what is required. so i guess that's the reason for the spectacular view of sofi's forehead. but can you imagine. C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T-E-S! HOW CAN ANYONE RESIST THATTTTTT. MRS FIELD TRIPLE FUDGE? FAMOUS AMOS PREMIUM CHOICE? BEN AND JERRY'S PHISH FOOD? MUNCHY OREO DONUTS? MILOOO? anddddddddddddddd my OREO CHOCOLATE BUBBLE TEA near tamp lib which i recently fell in love with. this is so so irri-noying! but i guess it leaves me with no choice and i shall now be a vanilla convert or an apple convert for real. damn it. but come to think of it, apple chips is not bad ey? mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... haha

either that or someone please tell me that i am being paranoid again.
i want to eat chocolates again.
i really do.
*wails*

-randomthought-
i think wearing crocs makes me want to jump every step i think and it's damn fun because you feel as though you are on a trampolin every freaking time. adrenaline rush, baby! so if you feel bouncy, wear crocs and i swear it's a good stress reliever especially when you are 29 days away to your first paper!

*so so sofi bounces off away*
bounce!
bounce!
bounce!

tee-hee-hee:)
