I can't exactly pin-down any life-changing moments that happened for the past 365 days or so, but one thing for sure, I feel a little bit different from last time and I am happy with it:)A million and one incidents happened throughout the year and I guess I can say that we learn through experience be it good or bad, from others or ownself. Well, cheers to a million and one happy moments, if not, more, for 2008 and many many more years to come!

then, i travelled to Malaysia a few weeks ago.
and recently came back from Germany and Brazil with two different groups of peopleee=P
we went to MINDgermania'CAFErina and played uglyuglyugly all the time. haha!. eventhough alecia was super sick, she still look prettyprettypretty all the time! haha! didn't get to interact much with her relatives from Germany, but it's nice to see them though after i TRIED to do linearprogramming at the library.

then! Kak Su and the rest of us entertained Ido from far far away and SAMBA all the way! learned a little about Brazil and how he converted into a Muslim. simply aaamzing. he told us that Brazil is so rich in natural resources that they even wash their cars with mineral water.

okay so, what am i doing in Singapore now? realllllly...... i feel like i am destined to travel all around the world, to see the Eiffel Tower, Amazon Forest or just to experience the fresh Krispy Kreme' Donuts. I should have agreed when my dad asked whether i would like to study overseas after A-levels. but oh welllls, I am sure one day i will save up and travel. Insya'Allah. but time and time again, we keep self-consoling ourselves and say, "there's always channel 16, millions of books and the internet" who can i blame? the grasses are always greener on the other side. but then again, be thankful SOFI, BE THANKFUL!!! haha. maybe i should start learning how to speak and write spanish. i sure need dayah and sya's help then. haha:)

It has got to be my paranoia talking, rite? rite? rite? i mean i had chicken pox about 4 years ago and it was the most depressing period of my life! now, i am scratching my whole body macam beruk , especially where the spots are, bringing me blast from the past. i honestly do not know what's the deal with that, just tell me it's not IT. so, after swimming this morning with wazzy, went to school and whined to syirin about it. so this was what she said intelligently in her effort to console me ,

KEPALA HOTAK DIER la! ya la.. i know that once you get chicken pox the chances of getting again is very low, but THANK YOU la ah babe for hearing me out. kaulah kawan terbaik ku! te-ney-ney! so halfway through marketing lecture, i couldn't take it anymore, i left and met the pharmicist. yes, the pharmicist, not the doctor as i was not having fever & wish to think that i am in the pinkEST of health. now, i just hope that the lotion works and take that paranoia away from me please. please. please.

tillllllllllzikry fell asleeep while HE was having supper! really! i still couldn't get that image out of my mind but the sight of it was really hilarious!!! kesian sey dier. haha

and how can we not meet the kiddos in KL too? :) i swear we were carbo overload, from fries to donuts to breadtalk.

went to 3 clubs all in one night and a lot of drama-mamas happened. now i know where Malaysian producers get their sandiwara-s from, like KL menjerit and Gerak Khas. haha.At zouk, we were at the losers corner, drama one happened, freaked out for awhile till i accidentally minah talk to kak irda. super funny i tell you. then, abang boy came and brought us to another club at heritage row called the mansion. i fell in love with the decorations. that's where drama two happened, which shows that i need to practice my "nak-kena-sepak-look" for security reasons. hahahaha. then after that we headed off back to the hotel where we went to level 33 to just take a look at

LUNA.

which made me look like a LUNAtic because i was so mesmerized at the decorations

and started taking pictures of every damn corner. hahaha

and the best part of all is having the best company anyone could ever ask for be it 3 years old or 33 years old. i want to go backkkkkk.

with all that said on done, on friday, talk about a series of unfortunate events,

1) i forgot to bring my pad(HAHA!), but thank god farisha saved the day and niki coincidentally found 2 more promotional items in the cleo magazine from m'sia. i love freebies, don't you? :)

2) my pair of white slippers broke when i was on the way to school. that very slipper was the slipper that tatia borrowed from me when she broke hers too. thank god she was near my area, and for me, thank god, tampines mall was just a few steps away where the drama happened. su, aku sayang kau for calming me down. hahaha.

3) my earpiece punya pantat hilang. i dont exactly know how to describe it, i guess its some sort of the rubbery part of the earpiece. boooooooooooooo! the only way to get it is go to sony ericsson service centre and wait for 498509438509384503984503 hours and purchase one pair for five bucks. S.U.C.K.Y.

4) captain's ball on friday, wasn't captains ball at ALL. it's rugby, soccer, flying fox and all the sports you name in the world that can cause you bad injuries like a big bruise on my thigh. but nevertheless it's fun=)


wahhhhhhhh, THAT day, i was super uber pissedd beyond words i tell you. but those unfortunate events lasted for a few mins. freaked out, panicked, nagged for one minute or so - I THINK - haha. then, i was in the right frame of mind to solve it. but yet, i still rant rant and rant after that. bad day, bad day. haha. oh well, i hope it doesnt happen again then, because any mishaps or whatsoever can probably break me at this point of time. i guess a good break would so me some good.

i couldn't agree more at how apt the timing seemed to be after watching grey's anatomy episode 8 on FOREVER YOUNG. there are so many situations that i can relate to, be it about lexie, yang or miranda. but all in all, as i step in the world of adulthood, i inspire to be like miranda bailey. she has almost full control of her life be it family or career and to me, she is a real woman. given that when she surfaces a problem, her effectiveness as chief resident(sorry su darling! i owe you! haha), just makes the hospital works. i aspire to be like her. one who works hard till the very end and knows the line between professionalism and friendship. ohhh spare the episode where she was accused as being a blithering idiot, but oh wells, don't we all want to be forever young and never old? she inspires me, and i guess what i like about her the most is her confidence, yes, confidence is the key. twenty-one, is just a number, but what matters most is the experiences that we go through and learn from it so as to get the best situation out of it.

to my beloved friends and family members, thank you for everything, the presents, your presence and the wishes.

16th november 2007 was spent with sim babies @ swensens. we were obviously high on donuts and many many cam-whore moments.

melvin did a trick by inserting his hands in his mouth while paul had his t-shirt printed, "God bRessYou", made in Taiwan. haha

sinping, shidah, alecia, agnes, thanks for organising it! it wasn't badly plan at all, though alecia was being such a darling.haha! we love silly-mon!!!

so, the last picture was definitely a memorable one, when paul said, "grope sofi's ass! grope!" look at how sinping was enthusiastically reaching out for my butt. while shidah and alecia must have grope each others wayyy earlier already. need i say more for the groping partners? haha. you guys are ze best.

17th november 2007 was spent with the sr people in the early part of the night @al-majlis. we were high on taboo, had arab food dinner&spent the voucher and saw the familiar faces that we haven seen in quite awhile:) nevertheless, it was fun and wished the night had lasted longer:))

and farah sayang, you are so so good at lyinggg!!! haha. i really believed you when you said that you were studying at home to prepare for your exams on monday! haha. thanks a lot for coming dear, good luck for exams k. jiayou!!!!!*hugs.

at the stroke of midnight on the 18th november 2007, isk, whom i plan to meet, came unexpectedly with su, raz and rahman. he, is another good liar. it took me quite awhile to notice that they were in the car as i expect isk to be alone in the car. so, upon reaching, they opened the door, and wished me and close the door again. it was a funny moment. but to have two of the bestEST person on earth by my side at the stroke of midnight, was definitely great. thanks wazzy dearie and su darling who came with her seluar kodok. haha!

and of course, it was great to have my mat dancers and isk the chaffeur to boogggiee the night away in the car too.

then, on the day itself, in the afternoon, the family and i went to nadi's cousin wedding @ bedok. quite an unusual way of spending it, but it was nice though=)

and, at night, which i din have any clue at first, the whole nek emah's family was there. we almost occupied the entire air-con area @ mak's place and it was very very kecoh indeed.

we celebrated ibu's 60th birthday(hers is on 21st) and my 21st too. had a blast with the family

by sunday, i was high on too many stuffles that i knew somehow, somewhere something is not right. true enough, at 4 am,my tummy starts to ache and so, i shitted(heh-excuse me. haha!). thought it was over, got ready for school and looking forward to it, and slightly before city hall, i knew i couldn't last the entire morning. so, i made a detour to tampines and took a cab from the tamp mrt. talk about hangover on donuts, seafood, breaded chicken, all in one. haha!

but thank god it got better at around 1 plus, completed a few of my to-do-list and then, met up with my darlings as planned. @ps, i really thought wazzy had diarrhea cos i thought it could possibly be the food that we ate last saturday. turned out to be that she was being such a darling, along with tatia by being a good planner. haha. we ate at manhatten and finally after one hour or so, aziela still made it and came right after her presentation, running with her heels and laptop bag *sayangsssss

i decided to give myself a treat yesterday by watching 2 episodes of desperate houswives, 1 episode of prison break and 2 episodes of heroes, non-freaking-stop. looking at it objectively, i can safely say that i don't deserve that long of a leisure time. 200 minutes of watching sexy McSweaty and hard-core bitchy women paid me off more than my hard work on marketing. but seriously, the marketing assignment that was due yesterday, really got on my nerves. and that, is only one topic out of 984750934750345093 topics. then, in marketing lecture, Patricia asked a simple question regarding target marketing and she concluded that "IN ORDER TO DO WELL IN MARKETING, YOU MUST GO SHOPPING!" without a doubt, she became my bestfriend almost instantaneously. haha. now, not only i must make it a monthly to-do-list. but, since, it is strongly encouraged by the lecturer, an everyday ritual to go shopping with a good objective in mind, would do me some good. LOL.

so that was yesterday, relieved that part of the school workload was done. but, you have no idea what happened a few days back. so, i was on msn chatting with a few people here and there, when suddenly, mash msn-ed me and sent me a pic.zip file and said, "you don't mind me putting up our picture here rite?" so accepted the file blindly and thought that it was the pics from tj raya outing& sya and dayah's party. and thennnnnnnnnnnnnn, after transferring the files, suddenly, 549853945983458793 was msn-ing me and said "huh, ????? took what???" only then i realised that it was a virus that was sent to me via msn. the message that was sent automatically to those online was, " YOU JUST TOOK IT. I HATE MY CAMERA" i was like, i did not type that!!! "how can i type that when my display picture shows a cute baby in leopard costume anddddd i am a camwhore, i love my camera(haha!)!! "so, i brought the laptop to school got zark to fix my laptop and its cured. zark said that mine wasn't that bad because he received a message from his friends before which is even funnier, like " do you think i look sexy in the picture?" THANK GOD i did not receive that. haha. but, no worries, its all cured and so so sorry for people! i really hope it won't happen again!:) thanks zark for helping me fix it! tak sia-sia kau ambik degree in IS ehh. haha=P

i like how after every netball training, we consume very healthy food, from mee kuah to mutton chop and soup kambing. hahahaha. but seriously, if time permits, dinner is a must and it would probably be somewhere near, especially when wainie and niki has the car most of the time. it's a good time to bond, like how we did at adam road the other time and found out that one of the girls, hana, is actually a friend of Princess Sara. she actually played basketball with her at the international school in brunei. hana, who is the same age as her, 18, is now taking a degree in psychology in UB and she is effing smart la!! i guess she must have skipped a few levels to be where she is now. i feel super old already.

talking about being old(bunny sign.haha!), i can't wait for later, tom, tom TOM and tom TOM tom!!! so excigtingggg. and i think i will be having too much fun for the next next following week because sister just called to tell me that i have to go kl in the first week of dec. honestly, i am having mixed feelings about this cos i wouldn't want to miss my lessons because, as it is, i am taking it at my own stride. oh wells, we shall see how, worse come to worse, i will try to kill two birds with one stone.

as what syirin said, "mahu yakin beb!!!" syirin, you are my favourite minah-rep eventhough you deny it to the max. i am sure shidah agrees with me. but don't worry, we still love you. haha. *hugs:)

ash's friends just miss those days when they were kids! and sinping, will never forget what haider told me about bangladesh and begedel laaaa you , bagedel! LOL

then, on sunday, i went to underwaterworld with the kiddos.the instructions were pretty clear at the touchpool and we told zikry about it.

right after that, zikry did the exact opposite!! haha.

little redha had his preferences for fishes. he not only want those colourful ones with vibrant colours, but also, those biggg ones. SIZE does matter to him. so, 50% of the time we were carrying him while the rest of him he walked by himself. just when i thought i could put him down in the tunnel as there was a travelator, he did not look left, right or above for the fishes but below, just too amazed by the travelator. the look on his face was super classic and right now, sofi wants to bite redha just like the shark below!haha.
