anyway, tution has started and i'm so elated that my pay is coming sooon(because it is looong overdued)! however, it's only 1 kid out of the 6 tuition kids that i'm tutoring. so, still a loong way to go to the ultimate dream. haha. but, tutoring kids does come with a price of their own. i mean, to elucidate the same concept gazillion times is not that fun. it comes with sheer patience and understanding. plus, it doesn't help the fact that the kids can be utterly rude at times. but oh wells, at the end of the day, you know the the pot of gold is waiting for you patiently :)))
ok, something happened in the earlier part of the day and i need to get it out of my system. you know, i can never ever comprehend why some people can be so indifferent about things. and the worst thing is that, it'd be the last thing that you would expect from them. i don't even know where to begin or how to pour it out. but, i guess, God has His means and ways of why it happened or how it exactly happened. and i know, Zikry, will always be that special little boy who warms people with his boat-like smile and contagious laughter. and for a 4 year-old kid to understand emotions, his e.q is limitless. i wuv you Zikry.and so as mama, ayah, wan bu, yai and om heder. *hug-a-bug* hug.

i guess we were all once naughty in our lifetime, but, overtime, through experiences, we learn and grow and not repent from the mistakes that we did. but, hey! it's fun, being naughty, once in a while, i guess. i was a really naughty girl when i was young though, but now.... i'm naughtier!*laughs* just kidding. but oh wells, it's not for me to judge, but i sure have learnt a whole lot :))) and, life rocks i must say. especially with you people around. you should know who you are. *hugs* so, thank you for everything and of course, i still love zikry eventhough he drives me nuts sometimes! *laughs*

anyways, i registered for my next sem's subjects and timetable. certain subjects such as organisation theory, macroeconomics and microeconomics are compulsory. so i can't run away from them.*gulps* organisation theory seems daunting, but, my seniors told me that it's more or less similar to sociology. hopefully, i will be able to enjoy it as much.*fingers crossed* and i'm looking forward to elements to sociology and applied psychology(esap) though. most of them said that it's one of the electives which is easy to comprehend and score:)) so, hopefully, esap will be my new bestfriend next sem. i checked out my timetable earlier, and i will be starting school on september 11th. quite a loooooooooooong way to go i guess. but, i seriously have a lot to accomplish during the holidays. i hope i won't dissapoint myself when the holidays end, though.
so, use it wisely, sofi:))
today i found out that my siblings are going to the coldplay concert with their respective family members(not me..haha) or friends. my sister is going with my bro-in-law and his cousins. my brother is going with his friends, provided that, if he is in Singapore. and me, with hafie!!!*laughs*
it was such a pleasant surprise to bump into her in the train just now along with the tj councillors. and of course, dhana too! it's been forever since i last saw him, but it was great!. well, i hope we are going to have our council gathering too. so, AYN!!!LALA!!!AISHA!!! we must plan our 16th council outing too k!:)
and so, another saturday, well spent with the sr mcs people. i met up with farah and wazzy first because master omar woke up at 4 p.m thinking that we were going shopping( i bet that was an excuse u cuckoo!). i wished. and for the 1st time in history, we were touching back our roots by speaking in malay for a good ten mins. it was damn hilarous, especially with azim telling us to "GIVE UP and SHUT UP" haha. sungguh fasih bahasa melayu anda ya, omar, farah dan wazzy. haha.
this was in taka, when they seriously have nothing better else to do,while waiting for tasha.
and when she arrives, he just have to squeeze his face somewhere.tsk tsk.
finally, my supper with hafie and dhana:))
Friday, June 23, 2006
uhhuh... yeap yeap. i'm going! *wheeeeee*well, i'm not exactly a hard-core fan of coldplay. but i do listen to their songs:) got the last minute invitation from hafie this morning and i was hyped up when i read it. had a lot of complications initally, but finally, after much negotiation, i managed to "psycho"(*laughs*) my parents to let me go and chip in a little for the concert. which means, i have "watch" my spending for the next few months *gulps*( and it doesn't help the fact that i'm quite broke now!-wails-)
why can't money just grow on trees? *laughs*=P

oooh!!!! i forgot to mention this. during my trip to malaysia recently, i actually made a new friend who is from south africa:) i know i know. it sounds weird because in actual fact, the friend ought to be a malaysian. but, she is a south african who lives in england. how i got to know her was definitely a plesant surprise. my parents and i decided to stay over my cousins place at sungei buloh during our stay in malaysia. when i arrived there, little did i know they had their own guests too(because my cousin studied and worked in england for quite sometime) and so, viola! that's how i met my new-found friend, saadiqah. she's on holiday with her mum and now, she's in singapore. but sadly, she's going home tom night which means i don't have a chance to see her here because it will be too rush i guess. -wails- but, the good news is, she's coming back *yippie* and hopefully, one day, i'll probably visit england or south africa; wherever saadiqah is. *laughs* but, i think it'll be great! so, looking forward to it. though i think, it will take many millinieums to come. haha :))))
anyway, welcome to the world, adam putra abu marhalim. another happy moment! my cousin just gave birth to a baby boy and im sure redha has no problem in finding people for playing soccer, when he gorws up. and did i mention that he is the most hugggableee person ever? i think i did. *laughs* but i was sooo geram at him today that i think, i hugged him a little bit too tight. haha. tsk tsk. naughty me.haha.
it has been said that hugging is healthy as it helps the immune system cures depression, reduces stress and induces energy.
and so, a *GREATBIGHUG* to you and you and you-ssss:)
happy thoughts=happy person=happy sofi! :)
so, happy thoughts okie? *laughs*
anyways, apart from yesterday, i think everything else was great!
let's start from sunday.
1)sunday.
went to malaysia. again!. yes! but this time round with my parents and kak jij and family. had always loved the large company of family anywhere, anytime. and so, kl was no exception:) i swear hartamas square is a super cool place to hang out. it's similar to holland v, cool ambience and crowd( because one-third of them are expats*laughs*). shopping was great. with a capital G and R and E and A and T(which means, a huge hole in the pocket*gulps*) and my cousins' new place at sungei buloh is just so humoungous! i'm pretty sure his 3 hyper kids has enough room to run about in the house. but, they are just so so so adorable! all in all, a wonderful trip and company!
daddy loves his new car very much. and so, on the way back home from kl, he decided to put his mazda 6 to the test. and guess what? it took 2hr15mins from kl to johore. so yeap, figure that out.... and when we reach back home, he effortlessly continues washing his car almost everyday
haha. i took this pic at Xtra Johore and i guess size does really matter to them afterall! one of the retail shops had this XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL t-shirt at the display window screen!
3)thursday
had sheesha with yasmin and prap at al-majlis. fun.fun.fun! i was trying my best to get high but i think the company that i had, got me higher than the sheesha!*laughs* but neverthelss, i definitely prefer that to smoking. and i love the rose-minty smell of it! so, yasmin and prap, cheers to more sheesha session!!! loving it babes! :)
brought the little rascal to barney show @ ps along with wazzy and her siblings. we were late for the 1pm show but there was a mini performance of tea party by barney at 4pm.so, we did catch a little bit of barney and sang some songs. but poor zikry was tired by then and he wasn't as excited as i thought he would be.
and thank god zikry wasn't as naughty as i expected. but still, i'm sorry wazzy if he hugged your brother too tight. haha.
and so, later, i met up with the tjc-tpjc people along with tatia after mum and dad fetch zikry from tamps mrt. went to watch the match of argentina against serbia and montenegro at simpang bedok. had fun watching the match though i was half blind. thank god for ili who is my personal commentator*laughs*but i think serbian players should be applauded for portraying good sportsmanship after the game. exchanging jerseys; shaking hands and stuff like that. i mean to be defeated by your opponent six to nil is really something. so, cheers to serbian players! :))))

but, duke(channing tatum), is MY MAN in sofi's little dreamworld:) *laughs*
so...watched she's the man along with su,sha and isk today at the cathay cineplex. i guess the movie is really a good warm-up before the world cup kicks tonight. and not to mention that the hunks in that movies is just so(times infinity) hot!!!*chuckles*
enjoyed the movie and especially the company :)
and.... the ending song, was quite significant, rite su?
i'm currently furiously mad at my brother, because for the umpteenth time, he took my stuff without permission. well, technically speaking, it's not my stuff, but, i'd really appreciate if he tells me that he is bringing the USB wire to Paris or something, rather having that thing vanished in thin air. -urgh- so, i'm really sorry isk,sha and su if i have yet to upload the pics:(((
i think you guys will only be able to get it in a week plus or so...
actually, i do have a spare USB wire. but sadly, it has it's moods too:( sometimes it can upload the pics but sometimes, the screen on the camera will flash *one moment* for the longest time! it's super frustrating! and what do you know? at the end of the day, no photos will be uploaded.
-uuurrrrghhhhh-
oh wells, it's part and parcel of living with the family members(especially the siblings) under one roof. almost everything goes missing or misplaced. be it keys, clothes, sunglasses and USB WIRE. i guess i have to be really patient for the next two weeks or so. glad i have the time traveller's wife book to keep me company and probably, certain matches in the world cup too:)
so, cheer up. cheer up. cheer up.
-urrrgghhhh-!!!
so so so irrriiii-nnnoooooyiiiiinnggg!!!!!
fly me to Paris someone? please?
Thursday, June 08, 2006
so, again and again and again. sofi did her thing. and yup, i guess she will never get sick of it. hahahahaha.
okie brother just left for Paris for the 29574097560497th time and i'm forever stuck here in Singapore!( the trip to genting is not counted k=P *laughs*oh, c'mon malaysia is just a stone-throw away from singapore!) and again, his car is going to be "stagnant" for quite sometime. such a waste isn't it? oh wells.. driving license... sooon k sofi...soon:)
and you know what is the funny thing, the ones who bring home the goodies isn't my bro at all, (despite the fact that we live under one roof)but his fiancee! she doesn't travel with my brother, but because she is an air stewardess, i think she has more leisure time than my brother's tight business schedules. but oh wells, i just love it when she brings home tonnes and tonnes of chocalates and candies! it's insanely satisfying! thank you kak liza:)
and i guess... maybe they are literally on cloud nine up up up in the air!!! :) :)

celebrity couples. either we hate them or love them. but my all-time favourite couple has got to be adam brody and rachel bilson. well, i may be bias because i just love The O.C. but seriously, how could anyone resist the hilarious and super-fun-loving adam brody and the adorable rachel bilson? i think they make a perfect couple. and yes, nothing could be sooooo much sweeter than on screen and off screen couples! and it's funny how somedays, i would be dreaming in lala land, thinking, "wouldn't it be nice if i'm in rachel's shoes.."*laughs* okie sofi, snap back to reality ! haha but seriously, adam brody is seriously a hot dude! not to mention his sense of humour which is just oh-so-sexy! and who wouldn't want to date such a gorgeous girl like rachel bilson!! she's kinda funny too! a perfect pair made in heaven:))
and yes farah, you are right. The O.C is love! has always been man :)
i think i'm going to be quite a couch potato these few days. tuition has been put on a hold because the kids wanna have a two-weeks break during the june holidays. which means, i have all the time in the world( well, not exactly, to think that i have to run errands for the house.sheessh.) to pamper myself. shopping, friends,tv, movies is an understatement. playing with zikry and redha has always been fun.and finally, having the time to read the traveller's wife sounds good:) but, above all, watching tv would be my top-notch priority. oh c'mon. daddy didn't buy the dvds for nothing.and i think now, it's a good catch-up for all the episodes that i've missed in grey's anatomy, desperate housewives and F.R.I.E.N.D.S. paying ayn a visit at videoezy sounds like a good idea! tsk tsk.. lazy bummy sofi. but, i guess it won't be for long till my freedom is taken away. so why not enjoy every moment? :)
okies. 16 blocks calling. i know. i know. it's been ages already. but i'm still watching! haha.=P
Monday, June 05, 2006
anyway, mum and dad are back from their holidays too. and guess what? they went snorkling!!! i can just imagine how adorable daddy and mummy looks like in their snorkling gears and attire.*laughs* judging from their expression, they must have really enjoyed their holidays too. and you know what? i'm not surprised if they are going down to malaysia anytime soon....
the cute little girl on top is my niece who is 2 years old. her name is mas amirah and i've only seen her once:( the two smiley boys at the bottom are her brothers, haziq and ishraq.and their father resembles Taylor Hicks, but, sadly, i forgot to snap his picture!*laughs*hayati is one of my closest niece in malaysia. and you could say that she's like a sister to me :) and just for the record, her father, which is my cousin, has 6 children. salutes to him! and.. i miss her already:((
it'd be great to have all of them in Singapore. but, it's quite amazing though to have relatives in malaysia. you tend to observe the how different they speak and look at things in different perspectives. am i right nadi? -laughs- oh well, i doubt so i'll be seeing them soon until my brother gets married or me travelling to malaysia. but other than that, they'll be missed by relatives back in Singapore. smiles.

uhhuh-uhhuh.... *laughs* mambo night has never been so much fun!!! nadi, dee, let's do it again sooon k? :))) (but,we must master the hand signals first, before we go again! haha)
anyway, cheers to kl tommorrow with nadi and family!!! *wheeeee*i reallie can't wait get my passport chopped and whizzed off to kl! how i wish my mum and dad could join us, but, they are reviving their good ol'time; "honeymoon" somewhere far far away! i miss u-s:):):)
